Netflix’s action fantasy movie Damsel, which will be available on Netflix, will present Millie Bobby Brown in a novel way. In the teaser, she is stranded in a pitch-black cave and must battle a fire-breathing dragon. The teaser claims that Millie Bobby Brown’s character, Princess Elodia, would have no prince to save her.

Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, the filmmaker, discussed how he began work on the movie in an interview with Netflix. “I loved how Dan Mazeau’s script embraced the idea of a fantasy adventure and a princess and dragon story, but it took it to a completely different place,” he remarked. It was an intensive adventure, and I was thrilled the whole time. I was eager to create and develop, however it was a very demanding process. This is fundamentally such a lovely tale of a young lady growing into a strong, self-reliant, and powerful adult. Elodie is completely alone and without support. It’s an authentic experience of surviving.
