According to the sources close to the film production, the film’s satellite rights were acquired by Asianet, and Disney+Hotstar has purchased the streaming rights. aReportedly, all new Malayalam movies make their OTT debuts after completing about four weeks of theatrical run.
However, Disney+Hotstar has been very aggressive in expanding its Malayalam offerings. It has become the home of some of the recent critical hits from Malayalam cinema, including Mohanlal’s Neru and Mammootty’s Kannur Squad.
