Citadel is an upcoming American series directed by Patrick Moran and Russo Brothers. The main cast of this series is Richard Madden (Eternals fame) and Priyanka Chopra. The Indian Version of this series is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
A recent rumor on the internet about the Indian version of this series stated that Samantha Ruth Prabhu had been replaced since she was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition myositis. But all this was just a rumor. The team of the Citadel series revealed that Samantha Ruth Prabhu just took a break for her recovery and she has not been replaced from the project. They also stated that Samantha Ruth Prabhu will soon continue her shoot in this action-filled spy series produced by Amazon by the end of January 2023.
Meanwhile, in the American version Priyanka Chopra playing as Citadel agent Nadia Singh. This is the second series for Priyanka Chopra as already proved her capabilities in the series Quantico. On the other hand, Varun Dhawan giving his debut to OTT in this series.
