Never Have I Ever featuring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi Vishwakumar, Jaren Lewison as Ben Gross, Darren Barnet as Paxton Hall-Yoshida, Ramona Young as Eleanor Wong, Lee Rodriguez as Fabiola Torres, Michael Cimino as Ethan Morales, Victoria Moroles as Margot, Benjamin Norris as Trent, Megan Suri as Aneesa Qureshi, Poorna Jagannathan as Dr. Nalini Vishwakumar, Richa Moorjani as Kamala Nandiwadal, and Ranjita Chakravarty as Nirmala Vishwakumar is a teenage young adult drama.
The drama revolves around the struggles of an Indian American teenager, Devi. The series begins with Devi a nerd who wants to explore life and relationships. Though Devi goes through various tragic events she manages to get past them. Devi’s character was loved by many viewers because she strives to improve, forgive and communicate when things go south.
Recently, during an interview, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan claimed, “I will actually, finally answer that without being annoying and still say Team Devi, which I am!!! but I am team Paxton.” She added,” I like Ben too but you didn’t get in the room through the window” while Darren Barnet and Jaren Lewison laughed as she answered. Jaren agreed with what she had to say as the character Ben never got to do a scene like that. The interview came to an end with the trio agreeing that Devi and Paxton’s chemistry was certainly romantic.
