Following its triumph run in theatres, Tollywood’s recent blockbuster HanuMan is now gearing up for its digital debut. One of the popular OTT platforms, Zee5, made a deal with the makers of HanuMan long back for a very moderate price. After this success, the film will surely be a jackpot deal for them.
Teja Sajja’s HanuMan, is all set to make its streaming debut next week. The movie, starring Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer in the lead roles, will start streaming on ZEE5 on March 8.
HanuMan film at the box office
HanuMan had an impressive extended run at the box office, lasting longer than usual before its streaming release. At a time when many new movies rarely manage to stay in cinemas for more than four weeks, HanuMan defied the trend by being available on more than 150 screens for over 50 days.
The movie was released on January 12, 2024, coinciding with Sankranti Festive. After a tough competition at the box office, HanuMan dominates in terms of collection.
According to reports, HanuMan has grossed more than Rs 300 crore from its worldwide theatrical collection. This is a significant feat, considering the movie cost less than Rs 40 crore for its producers.

HanuMan is made under the direction of Prasanth Varma and features Teja Sajja in the lead role. Also, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raj Deepak Shetty, and Vinay Rai are playing supporting roles. The film has been produced under the banner of Primeshow Entertainment.
Moreover, the movie is slated for release in multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. In addition, it will also be available in foreign languages, such as English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese.
