Actor Dhanush’s period action-adventure film ‘Captain Miller’ is the first part of a trilogy directed by Arun Matheswaran, who has also written it alongside Arunraja Kamaraj and Madhan Karky is all set to begin its OTT journey.
Captain Miller is set in the 1930s and tells the story of Analeesan, or Eesan, played by Dhanush, who hails from a remote village. He joins the British Indian Army to gain respect for Eesan, becoming Captain Miller, a notorious dacoit, and the events that follow form the crux of the story.
‘Captain Miller’ will be streaming on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video starting February 9. The film will stream in Tamil and be available in Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. Dhanush has begun working on his upcoming project, which is tentatively titled D51. He will be collaborating with National Award-winning director Sekhar Kammula for the film.
