Everyone embraces reality shows, and that too, Singing reality shows have more audiences and reach. One such is Telugu Indian Idol which is premiered on the Aha OTT Platform, and this is the first time a singing reality has been held on the OTT platform in the Telugu Language.
As the show, Telugu Indian Idol Season 1 emerges as a platform for many young talented singers. The show started with ten contestants and ran for 15 weeks. Recently the season finale was streamed on Aha. The chief guest for the season one finale is none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu. From first to last, he enjoyed the performances before handing over the title trophy. He wished all the contestants the very best in their endeavors.
Vagdevi won the competition and was presented with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh. In addition, the show’s makers assured a playback singing opportunity for her in movies made under Geetha Arts Production. Sreenivas and Vaishnavi are the first and second runners-up, and they won a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh and Rs 2 lakh, respectively. Vaishnavi also bagged an assured singing opportunity in megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Godfather. Tollywood’s sensational music director SS Thaman, multi-talented Nithya Menon, and playback singer Karthik led the show as judges.
