The highly anticipated movie “Adipurush,” featuring Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh, and Devdutt Nage, premiered in theatres on June 16. Directed by Om Raut, the film was produced with a substantial budget of Rs 700 crores. Based on the Hindu epic Ramayana, “Adipurush” is set to be available for streaming on Netflix sometime this month. Although there were earlier speculations of an August 1 release on OTT, stay tuned for the confirmed release date. The movie achieved significant success, earning ₹287.97 crore at the Indian box office and an impressive Rs 392.70 crore globally.
The film “Satyaprem Ki Katha,” featuring Karthik Aryan and Kiara Advani, made its debut in cinemas on June 29. With a remarkable worldwide box office collection of Rs 117.65 crores, the movie was directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced jointly by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures. It’s been reported that the film will become available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video this month. However, the official OTT release date has yet to be confirmed by the makers. “Satyaprem Ki Katha” follows the story of a middle-class man who develops feelings for Katha, a woman dealing with a breakup.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, the movie features Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan, and Inaamulhaq in significant roles. Written by Maitrey Bajpai and Ramiz Ilham Khan, the story revolves around the married couple Kapil and Somya from Indore, who decide to pursue a divorce. The film’s music is composed by Sachin-Jigar, and the cinematography is handled by Raghav Ramadoss. Following a successful box office run, “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke” is scheduled to premiere on JioCinema on August 11. Within its initial 39 days in theatres, the movie achieved impressive performance, accumulating a net revenue of Rs 88 Crores in India.
