Anne Hathaway, Jake Gyllenhaal To Join The Cast Of Beef Season 2

Beef season 2

The Netflix series Beef, starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, impressed critics and viewers with its dark comedy, fantastic storyline, and outstanding performances. It’s been reported that Beef creator Lee Sung Jin is working on a second season of the hit Netflix series.

According to the report, Season 2 will follow two feuding couples, putting a new spin on the concept. Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny are being eyed to portray a couple of new characters as they prepare to start a rivalry with another couple in the upcoming episodes of the successful Netflix comedy.

On the other hand, Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway are also being circled to star in the second season of Beef. Season 2 is still in its early development stages, so no cast members have officially signed up for the project. It’s also reported that the goal is for Season 2 to start shooting as early as late summer or fall in 2024. Currently, Season 2 has yet to be officially announced by Netflix.

The first season came out in April last year, and it has grabbed some of the major awards at the Emmys this year. Luckily for the fans, the fun won’t end with season 1. Beef has won eight Primetime Emmys. Yeun and Wong won the Golden Globes, too, while the series grabbed the trophy for Best Television Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television. As per IMDb, the series has won around 44 awards.
