Challengers featuring Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist, Zendaya plays Tashi, directed by the maker of Call Me By Your Name and Suspiria, Luca Guadagnino. It is a triangle love story between three tennis players competing in a tournament to be the world-famous grand slam winner.
Challengers have romance and angst at its crux as the trailer offers a brief ride through the film’s story that follows a young, highly talented, passionate tennis player, Tashi, who has taken the sports world by storm.
The trailer does not reveal anything about Tashi choosing between them, but everything changes after she injures her leg and is forced to give up her glorious status for a less glamorous position of coach; viewers see her married to Art.
