Soon-to-be parents Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar recently gave an interview, revealing and appreciating each other’s qualities.
As a part of promotions for their upcoming film article 370, where Yami Gautam is the main lead, and Aditya Dhar is producing the film. After directing Uri: The Surgical Strike in 2019, Aditya Dhar had another project that was held back due to the pandemic. The director has now given the details of continuing the film after article 370.
Talking about his next film as director, Aditya said, “Ashwathama has been put on the back burner, but there is something that we are developing, which should go on floors by June/July. I promise to inform you guys once things are locked.” Ashwathama is a superhero film that Aditya Dhar planned to do with Vicky Kaushal but was put on hold due to covid 19.
Yami Gautam added to Dhar’s statement and commented on his next directorial. “Believe me, that’s the only time I felt like I wish I was a guy. I know the story and it’s a world that you have not seen before. Knowing the kind of creative force Aditya is, we have all the right to ask him to do completely different from URI. Being predictable or pattern has never been his thing and I am excited for what’s coming up next,” said Yami.
Article 370 is set against the backdrop of the revocation of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and the autonomy granted to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution—a region administered by India. The movie is set to be released worldwide on February 23, 2024.
