Meanwhile, Karan Johar’s film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ maintains its stability in box office performance. According to trade reports, the movie generated Rs 4.10 crore on Day 13, August 9, bringing its total collection to Rs 117.78 crore. Now, the question arises: will the release of ‘Jailer’ impact the box office earnings of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’?
Ramesh Bala commented, “‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ has consistently been earning around Rs 4 crore daily. With new releases like ‘Gadar 2’ and ‘Oh My God 2,’ the screens will significantly reduce by Friday. However, ‘RARKPK’ appeals to families and couples, while ‘Jailer’ leans towards action. Consequently, ‘Rocky Aur Rani…’ may continue to earn Rs 4 crore on weekends and possibly decrease to Rs 2 crore on weekdays. Its stability and decent performance will persist, given its distinct audience compared to ‘Jailer’.
