Why do Akkineni’s successors have no Star status?

Tollywood’s legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwara Rao Garu, commonly known as ANR, mostly works in Telugu Cinema. He nearly acted in 260 films, which include Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil. Most of his films were both commercial and critical successes. His son Akkineni Nagarjuna, known as King Nag, also entered the Telugu Film industry, and in less time he also succeeded in making superhit films.

The family tree is growing bigger in Tollywood, and the sons of Nagarjuna to are making movies in this Entertainment Industry. But the only thing bothering the Akkineni family was that, except for Nageshwara Rao, no other actor attained star status and did not even stand out as a tough competitor to others. This is so horrible for them; in the past, the Akkineni heir ruled Tollywood, and these successors are not trying to cope to continue their legacy.

The situation is entirely on a different track when we compare these successors of Akkineni with the other renowned family members who are making noise and continuing the legacy left behind by their fathers and grandfathers. The current successors of the Akkineni family are Naga Chaitanya and Akhil. Chai, who established himself as an actor with above-average films, says Akhil’s career is worsening day by day as he hasn’t yet gotten any proper successful films.

With their family influence, they can make anything; they can get the right scripts; and they can even produce their films. However, both Chai and Akhil have not yet attained star status. They have to analyze on their own where they are lacking.
