Dune: part 2 is an upcoming American epic science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaihts. It’s an official adaptation of a 1965 science-fiction novel by Frank Herbert. Dune: part 2 will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atrides who seeks revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family.
Chalmate rides a big worm to impress Zendaya’s chani in the trailer. The rightful heir to House Atrides is stuck on the planet of Arrakis while the rest of the universe thinks he is dead, so Javier Bardem’s character gives him some tips on how to ride sandworm. Elsewhere Florence Pugh’s Princess Irulan plots and Austin Bulter’s Feyed-Rautha Harkonnen fights in the arena- blad from the eyebrows up. It’s not so dark, though. By the end of the trailer, Paul Atrides masters ” sand back” riding and gets to kiss Chani.
As Timotthe Chalmet told Vanity Fair,” The universe of Dune is a complex world of geopolitics and with the tons of ecological and technological metaphors that hold up today.” The extended cast includes Zendaya, Austin Butler, Josh Borlin, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista, and Stellan Skarsgard. Dune: part 2 is produced by Warner Bros. Pictures and is said to be released on November 3, 2023.
