He has also constructed a real-life version of his amazing cartoon shows and movies – Disneyland in Hong Kong, Japan. It’s every child’s genie-wish to visit that heavenly abode at least once in a lifetime.
This time, Walt Disney Productions is back with another banger movie The Little Mermaid that’s already creating new standards. This movie follows a mermaid princess Ariel seals the deal with Ursula – a treacherous sea witch – because of her growing obsession with the human world. She convinces her to trade her voice for human legs because she’s committed to convincing Prince Eric, who is saved from a shipwreck.
It was flooded into cinemas on May 26th, 2023. In the span of barely 4 days, the movie has already surpassed the box office collection of 21.13 crores USD across the globe, 4+ crores of which belongs to India alone. If this pace continues, approximate calculations can be made to anticipate its earnings in a whole month – over 100 crores! The wildfire that it has spread so far makes it obvious that it’s going to be a big hit, earning houseful theatres day in and day out.
