The duo of Pawan Kalyan and Ramana Gogula is an iconic combination in the Telugu film industry. Both of them worked together on various films like Thammudu, Badri, Johnny and Annavaram.
It has been 23 years since Thammudu was released. It had hit the screens on July 15, 1999. On its release anniversary, Ramana Gogula took to Twitter to share a video clip of himself crooning one of the popular tracks from the movie.
Gogula sang the song ‘Yedola Undi Naalo’ in the video. Along with the video, he tweeted, “Thank you all for all your love for my music… I can’t believe that it’s been 23 years since I sat with @PawanKalyan and scored the music for this awesome film. Have a great weekend!!!”
Pawan fans were elated after watching this video and relished all their memories of Thammudu. Even director Harish Shankar replied to Rama Gogula’s post and wrote, “Awesome sir …. Thanks a lot for bringing back memories. I will meet soon sir @RamanaGogula.”
Directed by Arun Prasad, Thammudu featured Preeti Jhangiani and Aditi Gowitrikar as the female leads. It was produced by Burugupalli Sivaramakrishna.
