‘Vikram’ adopts an Innovative Promotional strategy

Vikram is one of the most-awaited releases of this summer, and this action thriller is all set for its grand release tomorrow. Actor Nithiin’s father, Sudhakar Reddy, bagged the Telugu rights of the film and is releasing it on a grand scale in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

To attract audiences to the theatres, the makers have also reduced the ticket prices. It is already known that the families are not interested in entering theatres after witnessing a hike in movie ticket prices.

In order to lure them to come back to the cinema halls, Vikram makers have also mentioned the ticket rates on the posters. The rates in Telangana are Rs. 150 (single screens) and Rs. 200 (multiplexes). The prices in Andhra Pradesh are Rs. 147 (single screens) and Rs. 177 (multiplexes).

Recently, even the makers of Major mentioned the ticket rates on the posters to attract audiences, and this has become a new promotional strategy for medium-budget films.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vikram features Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in the other pivotal roles. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music for the project.
