Director Vetrimaran’s latest movie ‘Viduthalai Part 1’ was released in theatres on March 31. The film, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Soori in the lead roles, has received a huge response from the fans. Many reviews say that ‘Viduthalai Part 1’ is one of Vetrimaran’s best films so far.
According to the reports, ‘Viduthalai Part 1’ collected 8 crores gross on its first day. On its first day at the box office, it earned Rs. 3.85 Cr India net. The early estimations of the second-day box office collections are reported to be Rs.3.50 Cr net.
The film was critically acclaimed and saw actor Soori break away from his usual comedic style and play a different role in the film. Soori is getting a lot of praise for his performance.
Vetrimaran himself has written the screenplay for Viduthalai Part 1. Versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi is seen in a different getup in the film. This versatile actor nailed his character in Viduthalai with his top-notch performance.
Produced by Elred Kumar under the banner of RS Infotainment, the film is distributed by Udayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies. The next part of this film will be released in September this year.
