Vijay Varma is an Indian actor who works in Hindi cinema. Varma rose to fame after his role in Pink.
The actor is currently attending Cannes Film Festival 2023, as a part of the Indian delegation. He is on nine clouds as his crime thriller series Dahaad is doing well.
In a recent interview, the actor talked about the Cannes Festival he attended in 2013 where he accompanied the team of his film, Monsoon Shootout, directed by Amit Kumar.
The actor revealed, that he was rejected by the designers as nobody knew him and he had to wear a Zara suit bought by his friend.
The actor said wore a Jacket for the event and he revealed, “But for the main event, for two events, they said you have to wear the whole suit. And I went to people, saying, ‘Can some designer come, can some stylist help me out?’ And they said, ‘Who’s Vijay Varma? We don’t want to dress anybody,”
He further said that his friend bought him a Zara suit and for the second event somebody stitched him a black tuxedo for the red carpet.
