Vijay Deverakonda is overwhelmed with the success of his sensational romantic drama, Kushi. The film was released on 1 September and received critical acclaim from the critics and is successfully running in the theaters.
The wholesome entertainment film was made with a budget of Rs 50 crore and has collected over Rs 75 crore gross in its opening weekend and has already reached the break-even mark in the USA. The movie’s unit celebrated this memorable success at a grand event in Vizag tonight. Vijay announced that he will give away Rs 1 crore of his earnings from Kushi and distribute Rs 1,00,000 each to 100 families. After Liger’s disastrous failure, Vijay felt overwhelmed by Kushi‘s box-office success and thanked his fans.
VD attended an event to celebrate Kushi’s success; during his speech, he showed his generous heart once again. He announced that he would donate Rs 1 crore of his earnings from Kushi and distribute Rs 1,00,000 each to 100 families, “Providing this small monetary assistance to my ‘Devera Families’ from the money I have earned for Kushi will be the real success for me personally” Vijay said.
Vijay also revealed that he will share a form on his social media platforms on Tuesday to select 100 families and donate the money within a week. According to a new portal, Vijay wanted to earn good money, make his parent happy and be respected in society.
