Udhayanidhi Stalin steps in to distribute Varisu in TN

Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu is gearing up for Sankranti release. The movie is still facing many issues and problems in theatre allocation in the two Telugu States. As per rule of Telugu Film Industry, on festive seasons, more theatres will allot to only regional Telugu films than to comparatively dubbed films.

But the Producer Dil Raju who is bankrolled the Varisu, also a top most producer who had more grip with Telugu distributors blocked many theatres as possible for Varisu.

Later the issue was raised by Telugu film Association. Recently, Dil Raju made sensational comments, Vijay is top hero than Ajith. And he also added that he will go to Udhayanidhi Stalin to give extra 50 more theatres for Varisu in Tamil Nadu.

Udhayanidhi’s production house Red Gaint movies is releasing the Ajith’s Thunivu movie all over the Tamil Nadu. Seven screen studios are releasing Varisu in Tamil Nadu.

But the whole situation changed at once, soon after the sensational comments of Dil Raju. Red Gaint movies Production house came forward to release Varisu in some areas of Tamil Nadu like Chennai, Coimbatore, Chengalpet, South and North Arcot. The rest of the Tamil Nadu release will be handled by Seven Screen Studios.

Confirming the same, Seven Screen studios officially the news through their Twitter handle. It’s been almost a decade since both the stars had a simultaneous release at the box office, the last time they clashed with each other was in 2014 when Ajith’s Veeram and Vijay’s Jilla released.

Varisu is directed by Vamshi Paidipally whereas Thunivu is helmed by H Vinoth. Both the films were releasing for Pongal and heading out for a clash.
