Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Tu Jhoothi mai makkaar’ was released on 8th March. It is a Romantic comedy film. It’s been three years since any of Shraddha Kapoor’s movies got released. Shraddha’s fans felt happy about her movie release after such a long gap. The last film of Ranbir Kapoor, Brahmastra got a flop but it did manage to get good collections at the box office. This is the first film in which both these actors appeared together.
All the fans had high expectations from the film, it has received mixed to positive reviews with praise for its direction, soundtrack, humour, cinematography, costumes and the performances of the leads. The song ‘O Bedardeya’ sung by Arijit Singh got more famous from this film, which became a favourite for all the audience.
The movie did very well at the box office, it grossed over ₹201.26 crores worldwide, in India being ₹161 crores and overseas ₹40 crores. Also, it is the second highest by a Hindi film in 2023 and 4th highest-grossing Indian film of 2023.
