An Award-winning Telugu lyricist and Padma Shri awardee, Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry has been successful as an Actor, Singer, Lyricist, and Poet as well. Born in 1955, he ruled Tollywood and Kollywood entertainment industries for many years. Though unfortunately, we lost such a legend on November 30, 2021, his melodies live forever.
The play of words in the film ‘Sirivennela’ won Seetharama Shastry unprecedented fame and joined the name Siriveenela to him. Later he never turned back, as every line he wrote stood as a milestone for future lyricists. Holding a record of writing lyrics for over 3,000 songs till 2020, Seetharama Sastry is popular for this philosophical approach in his songs.
