Tom Cruise is rejoining the set as Ethan Hunt, and if the first set photos are any indication, there will be action and a little blood.
The actor has begun filming the next edition of the Mission Impossible franchise. A fan page for the actor on X published a slew of photos and a video of Tom sprinting around the streets of London as production began.
According to a fan page, Tom Cruise Navy on X, a new video from the Mission: Impossible 8 set shows Cruise sprinting down the London streets in a bloodied suit during an action sequence.

The first image shows Tom sprinting to capture a chase scenario on the Westminster Bridge. He wore a white shirt and black coat as he raced through the street, his clothing stained with blood.

The second photo, Tom was laughing and conversing with some of the team in between pictures. Another image showed a large military presence at the spot, with multiple armed troops standing near the renowned landmark in London.
Moreover, Tom was the only one captured in the video from the session as he prepared for the shot. With a clap, he swiftly sprinted to the opposite side of the road. The picture is now scheduled for release in 2025, after a one-year delay caused by the SAG-AFTRA strike.
He will portray Senior Field Agent Ethan Hunt in the eighth chapter of the Mission: Impossible franchise. Christopher McQuarrie directed Part 1, which was produced by Paramount Pictures. The cast also features Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and Simon Pegg, among others.
