Tollywood looking at Major

The ticket pricing prospect has emerged as a hard nut to crack for the Telugu film industry. Films like Radhe Shyam and Acharya have bombed at the box office, and they went on to show that the Telugu audiences are in no mood to pay big money for every film.

Interestingly enough, Adivi Sesh’s Major is the first Telugu film to release with nominal ticket prices after the third wave.

Team Major has already announced that the film is coming with the lowest ticket prices for any Telugu film after the thor wave. Amidst rumors that the Telugu film producer’s guild is looking to incorporate nominal ticket pricing, Major’s ideally economical ticket pricing model will serve as a case study.

It is evident that not every film can pull the audience to theatres with high prices. So, Major’s box office returns with nominal ticket pricing will serve as a yardstick for Tollywood.

Major’s ticket prices at multiplexes in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have been locked at Rs 195 and Rs 177, respectively.
