Director Siva talking about bringing the Kanguva alive, ” I worked on this script four years ago. Suriya loved it and so did Gnanavel Raja. Suriya loved the script and his makeover to the script is physically demanding but Suriya was sincere about the role.
Among 3 stories narrated to Suriya, the actor loved Kanguva’s narration. Suriya’s makeup for this film takes around 2 and a half hours and is always on time for the sets.
The war sequences in Kanguva will attract the audience. A major part of the periodic portion will be filled with action which was shot in the interior forests of Rajahmundry and Kodaikanal. Kanguva will mark as the most expensive film in Suriya’s career until now.
Suriya will be seen playing a titular character, Kanguva which is also the title of the film. The glimpse released revealed one of his looks as the savior and the king, Kanguva who rises from the flames to save his people.
The makers of the film are planning to do pre-release business on a grand scale and the buzz is that the budget just for the pre-release business is one of the highest ever in Kollywood. Due to VFX works, and 3D conversions, the Film is aiming to release on Tamil New Year.
Kanguva directed by Siva starring Suriya Sivakumar and Disha Patani in the leads. Suriya will be seen playing in two roles, one set in periodic time and the other set in current time. Produced by KE Gnanavel Raja, the film will be released in 10 languages.
