Tiger 3 gave Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi the biggest opening in their careers. The film had a huge opening at the box office. Tiger 3 was released on Diwali with a calculative move although it’s a weekday for any movie release, the movie also collected a tremendous collection globally.
Tiger 3 has passed the third-day test with flying colors. The movie has collected RS 42 crores on Tuesday. But the film is seeing an unusual dip in the numbers. The film which collected 100 crores domestically saw a 30% dip in its collections.
Even advance bookings for the fourth day have seen a dip. The reason behind the drop in numbers is said to be cricket fever. Indians worship cricket and India is competing with New Zealand on Wednesday for the World Cup semi-final. Most of the fans will stick to television screens either at home or office rather than preferring film is where the downfall in collections came from.
However, The need of the hour for Tiger 3 is to maintain its momentum on Thursday and Friday. this weekend could be huge given there’s no competition at the ticket windows. Tiger 3 is the fifth film in Yashraj Spy Universe.
