The shooting of Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram Srinivas’s upcoming film, tentatively titled SSMB 28, commenced long ago and is now all set for fast mode after a lot of delays. The film’s title will be finalized in the coming weeks and shared with the fans along with a poster.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that OTT behemoth Netflix has acquired the digital rights to Mahesh Babu’s SSMB 28 for Rs 81 crore, a record-breaking sum for any Telugu film. According to a source close to the development, this is the only Telugu film that has earned the most money from such a deal. Also, the film will be available online after completing 50 days of theatrical release.
SSMB 28 is Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas‘ third collaboration after Athadu and Khaleja. After Maharshi, Pooja Hegde will play the female lead in the film. The technical team of this film consists of composer S Thaman, editor Navin Nooli, art director AS Prakash, and cinematographer Madhie.
