Samyuktha’s recent movie Sir was released last month in both Tamil and Telugu languages. This blockbuster film, which has been running successfully for 2 weeks, is approaching Rs.100 crores at the box office. After the success of Sir, actress Samyuktha has been getting more film opportunities. Samyuktha is in a state of bliss because of Sir. She made her Tollywood debut with Bheemla Nayak following scored a back-to-back blockbuster with Bimbisara.
An incident from one of her previous films is in news now. Samyuktha refused to take her salary from the producer after knowing that the film released was a flop, this surprised many people. The movie Edakkad Battalion 06 is produced by Malayalam producer Sandra Thomas. Actress Samyuktha played the lead role in the film. Samyuktha, who initially received 65 percent of the salary for the film, was supposed to take the remaining salary after the release.
After the film resulted in a flop, producer Sandra Thomas went ahead to pay Samyuktha the remaining salary. As the film failed, Samyuktha refused to accept that amount. In this era where there are heroines who say that they will not do dubbing or take part in promotions unless they are paid, Sandra Thomas is speechless seeing such an actress.
