Samuthirakani is an Indian actor and film director who predominantly works in Tamil films besides appearing in a number of Telugu and Malayalam films. He worked as an assistant to director K. Balachander, in Paarthale Paravasam. He won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2016 for Visaranai.
Now he is back Vimanam. ” Vimanam’ is a film about a loving relationship between a father and his son. Samuthirakani plays the father, and Master Dhruvan plays his son other than them Meera Jasmine, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rahul Ramakrishna, Dhanraj, Naan Kadavul Rajendran will be seen in the film. The film is Directed by Siva Prasad Yanala. Music is given by Charan Arjun, DOP by Vivek Kalepu, Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh, and Produced by Kiran Korrapati & Zee Studios. The film’s teaser has been released and seems to be good as expected.
The Storyline of the film is ” Samuthirakani plays Veerayya, a father who promises his son a flight journey if he excels in his studies. Will the father fulfil his son’s dream of flying?”. The film is set to release on 9th June.
