The critically acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee on 30 years in movies!

The critically acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee, who hails from a small village called Belwa in Bihar’s West Champaran district, featured in films such as “Kaun?”, “Shool”, Gulmohar, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, Joram, Family Man, and “Pinjar” post his breakout performance and won numerous national and international awards, including India’s prestigious Padma Sri award in 2019, for his contribution to Indian arts and cinema.

Although  Manoj Bajpayee was praised for “Raajneeti,” he received more recognition for his portrayals of Sardar Khan in “Gangs of Wasseypur” and Professor Ramchandra Siras in Hansal Mehta’s biographical drama “Aligarh.”

But Bajpayee’s role in the Prime Video series “The Family Man” as an intelligence agent juggling a dangerous job with family obligations made him a household name. “The Family Man” is the most celebrated and well-received series of the year 2022.

In a recent conversation the critically acclaimed actor said “More than anything, what made me survive all these years is my extreme passion and love for what I do. I don’t want this love story to ever end,” “Looks like it has gone in a jiffy but it hasn’t. When you sit down, you realize that it was not easy. You kept building it brick by brick and sometimes suddenly someone would come and push the half-built wall and you start again.

There have been many challenges along the way, but Bajpayee credits his “extreme passion for cinema” for his survival in the industry.
