Telugu films are on Dominating side for Sankranti

Movies are gearing up for Sankranti’s release. In Tollywood, it’s Balayya vs. Chiru, and in Kollywood, Vijay vs. Ajith. In a healthy competitive manner, the biggies are coming to entertain us for the festival.

Going into detail, both the Tamil flicks are coming on January 11, NBK on January 12, and finally, Chiru will arrive in theatres on January 13. In comparison to Tollywood and Kollywood films, we can say our Telugu movies are on the dominant side, as Vijay’s Varisu premieres are still in doubt overseas, and rumors on the Telugu version of the movie are not ready yet, which is also a major drawback.

On the other hand, Ajith’s Thunivu (Thegimpu in Telugu) has nowhere to go in the race for Sankranthi. The movie doesn’t have any hype in Telugu or overseas markets. So, clearly, the films Veerasimha Reddy and Waltair Veerayya are in a strong position and do not need to compete for box office profits. There are absolute signs that our Telugu movies will rule this Sankranthi.
