Taylor Swift won VMAs
Hollywood pop singer Taylor Swift is adding more gold prizes to her trophy shack this year. The Blank Space singer once again dominated the MTV Video Music Awards(VMAs) winning for every category televised in which she was nominated.
Taylor Swift is currently on a break from her record-setting Billion Dollar Eras Tour. The Singer claimed the top prize for her smash hit song “Anti-Hero.” Taylor receiving the award said This is unbelievable on the stage as she held the Moon Person statuette for video of the year. “The fact this is a fan-voted award means so much to me.”
Taylor Swift set a record for having the second win in the Video of the Year category. She won last year for her 10-minute version of the breakup song “All Too Well”. At the start of Tuesday night’s show at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, Taylor gushed as she received the Pop Video Award.
Taylor Swift received nine awards on Tuesday tying the record for the biggest VMA haul in one night, MTV said. Her accolades included song, artist, and album of the year. This brings her lifetime VMA total to 23 next to Beyoncé.
Taylor giving a speech at the award show said, “I love making pop music, I love making pop music videos, I also love making country, One big adventure, and it’s all so much to challenge myself to make music that’s different than what I made last, and I just love you for it. But I really love making pop music, so thank you so, so, so much.”
