Tabu is very funny when she’s angry
Senior actress Tabu who primarily worked in Bollywood recently appeared in Khufiya along with Ali Fazal and Wamiqa Gabbi. The actress in one of the interviews opened up about limited comedy films.
When the Drishyam actress was asked about not doing comedic roles, the actress said she historically observed that there has always been a shortage of individuals who could imagine women in comedic roles. She said she doesn’t even know if people can associate women with comedy or fun even though there are a lot of women who make us laugh.
Khufiya director Vishal Bharadwaj listening to her answer reacted and said Tabu is very funny, people don’t know, right? And she’s the most funny when she’s angry.” Tabu also talked about how she doesn’t really like giving interviews.
The Khufiya actress says that the interviews really take a lot of energy and a few questions that are asked during the interview are really not on time and most of them will be basic ones and not really interesting questions to answer.
Khufiya starring Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Ali Fazal in the lead roles also has Ashish Vidyarthi, and Azmeri Haque Badhon in key roles. Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, Khufiya is premiering on Netflix.
