Sydney Sweeney Opens Up About Euphoria Season 3: Reflections and Revelations

In a podcast interview, Sydney Sweeney talked about her new movie, Immaculate, the third season of Euphoria, and the HBO show’s growing secrecy. In March, Sweeney discussed her busy schedule from the previous few months in a different interview. She disclosed that she will soon be returning to the set of Euphoria, having worked on Anything But You, Madame Webb, Saturday Night Live, and Immaculate, her upcoming horror movie.

Sydney Sweeney is discussing Euphoria Season 3

In a brief conversation, Sydney Sweeney disclosed that she could not provide many details regarding the third season of Euphoria. Sweeney joked, “Honestly, it is as scary as talking about Marvel,” drawing a comparison between the highly classified comic book and movie franchises. “I said one thing, and it went everywhere.”

When Sweeney asked if “fans were excited for the forthcoming season,” she responded, “I’m excited too.” She added, “I love Cassie. Cassie truly is a dream to play, and as an actor, I’m so fortunate that I’ve had a character like her at such a young age,” she continued. “And, of course, I want to keep living her life crazy. I love it.”

More about Euphoria Season 3

In August, Levinson told Elle that he thought of Season 3 as a cinema noir and that it would “explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world” through the eyes of lead actress Zendaya and her character Rue.

After the season 2 finale showdown, Euphoria will have many questions to answer in the next season. Maddy exacts her revenge after fighting Cassie during Lexi’s play, but what happens next? We all see Maddie dispensing some much-needed guidance to her erstwhile best friend. With Nate, her friends, and even her family abandoning her, Cassie is left alone.

There may also be an update on Rue and Jules’ friendship in Season 3. As Jules informed Rue’s mother about her drug use, the friendship turned romantic relationship came to an end. Even though they had a brief conversation after Lexi’s play, the two are not entirely made up as lovers or friends. But given the amount of money Rue owes Laurie, this may be best.
