The director of the film, James Gunn, confirmed the casting of Davis Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan as he shared a screenshot of a website about the casting and commented that it was true. The marvelous Mrs. Maisel actress Rachel Brosnahan will star as the most famous girlfriend of Superman, Lois Lane, and We Own The City star Davis Corenswet will replace Henry Cavil as Superman in Superman: Legacy. The tall, handsome dude who looks like Henry will lead DC Studios’ next films. The Emmy-winning actress Rachel is perfect for the Lois Lane role, as she already played the incredibly funny and gorgeous Mrs. Maisel with perfection.
The new casting seems interesting and refreshing. The film is set to release in 2025. James is co-writing. the story with Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel, and DC Studios is producing the film.
