Supergirl in next DCU may change

Superhero fans are pretty hyped up after knowing that the new DC universe will have many new characters. Among the upcoming cast, fans speculated that they would see Supergirl in James Gunn and Peter Safran’s revamped DC wing of Warner Bros. Sasha Calle previously played the role of Supergirl in Flash.

Interestingly, the makers announced that Superman: Legacy, starring David Corenswet as Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, will also feature Supergirl. But the makers confirmed that Sasha Calle will not reprise the Supergirl role in DCU and Superman: Legacy.

As per the latest update, the makers are looking for a new white actor to play the role of Supergirl. She will have blonde hair and blue eyes, as per DCULeaks. The idea is to cast a comic-accurate-looking star for the role.

Knowing that Sasha Calle would not be playing the character or would no longer be associated with DCU upset many of her fans who appreciated her performance in the Flash. Supergirl will have a crucial role in Superman: Legacy and the studio is looking for a girl between 18-25 to play the part of the younger end.
