Sunil used to be one of the top comedians in Tollywood and ruled the roost for many years before turning into a full-time hero. Despite having some initial success with films like Andala Ramudu and Maryada Rammana, Sunil failed to excel as a hero and lost his charm completely.
However, after many years, with the character Mangalam Seeny and the super success of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ he seems to be back on the track, with negative roles. All the films he did as an antagonist are becoming superhits, such as ‘Colour Photo’, ‘Disco Raja’ and ‘Pushpa’. His character is reported to be even better and bigger in ‘Pushpa: The Rule’.
Now the reports state that the actor who has been already roped in as villain in Rajinikanth’s Kollywood film Jailer is said to be making his Bollywood debut also soon as an antagonist with two big projects. Post the success of ‘Pushpa’ he has reportedly got several Bollywood offers out of which he has signed two of them.
In a recent interview with the local media, Sunil also reportedly mentioned that he has been getting offers from Tamil and Kannada industries too. The actor’s national wide recognition as a deadly ‘Mangalam Srinu’, Red Sandalwood smuggler in ‘Puspha’ seems to be making him busy yet again.
