Sumo Didi starring Niteish Pandey, Shriyam Bhagnani, and Raghav Dheer released on 27th October. The film happens to be first premiered at the Tokyo International Film Festival.
Jayant Rohatgi a debutant director happened to direct the film received a positive response from the and is produced by Jyoti Deshpande. The film is based on a real woman Sumo Wrestler from India, Hetal Dave from South Mumbai. Hetal represented India in Taiwan, Poland, and Finland. She also happens to be the first Indian Woman Sumo Wrestler to make her place in the Limca Book of Records.
The film received heartfelt responses from the audience in the last 3 days of its release.
Niteish Tiwari plays a key role in the film and he previously wrote about what the film is about. “The new film Sumo Didi on the first female Sumo wrestler of India Hetal Dave. Shooting in Kolkata.
