Subhash Gail had to give up A.R. Rahman chartbuster song Jai Ho

Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire, directed by Danny Boyle, was composed by A.R. Rahman. Not many know who first approached A.R.Rahman to score for Bollywood films, read more to know. 

In a recent chat with a news portal, Subhash Ghai claimed he was the first to approach A.R.Rahman to score music for Bollywood films; he further disclosed that he and his team recorded for Jai Ho but couldn’t take it at the end. A.R Rahman and Subhash Gail worked for the film Yuvraaj; the Salman starrer film portrayed the leading man as an aggressive man, so Subhash Gail had to give up on the song, which was later used in Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire when Danny approached A.r.Rahman for a song.

A.R. Rahman is a legendary music composer who has bagged various National and International Awards. The Indian artist has made the world bow in front of his craft; he has composed multiple classics like Nuvvunte Naa Jathaga from S.Shankar’s film I, starring Vikram and Amy Jackson in pivotal roles and various chartbusters in films like Ok Jaanu. On the work front, A.R Rahman is all set to score for Ram Charan’s next.
