The Test
”The Test” , the cricket drama is one of the most underappreciated projects coming out this year in S Sashikanth’s directorial debut. The film stars R Madhavan, Siddharth, Nayanthara, and Meera Jasmine. There hasn’t been much hype surrounding the film. However, the BTS video released by the team to commemorate the end of the shooting process is sure to draw a lot of attention.
The team provided a brief glimpse into the world of ‘The Test’, in which Siddharth will play Arjun, a cricket player. It is still unknown what roles Madhavan and Nayanthara will play in the film. As the title suggests, ‘The Test’ will be about an International Test Cricket match and the events that occur before and after it. The film is scheduled to be released this summer.
According to IMDb, The Test’s plot is best described as ‘Three people’s worlds collide during a historic international cricket test match in Chennai, forcing them to make life-changing difficult decisions.’
The production company shared the news on social media and also posted a behind-the-scenes clip from the film’s set. Wrote”It’s a WRAP for #theTEST. See you in cinemas, this Summer,” YNOT Studios posted on microblogging site X.
The BTS that was released indicates that the film will be heavily focused on cricket, a game that many Indians enjoy. Given this, The Test will be released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, and is expected to hit theaters in Summer 2024.
