DJ Tillu has been the surprise blockbuster of 2022. This small film, which was shot with a nominal budget, created a storm at the box office and gave Telugu cinema a much-needed hit after a string of failures in the early part of 2022.
Following the hit, the sequel started with excellent buzz, as it had the same cast and crew in its initial days. However, Vimal Krishna opted out of this project some time back due to some creative differences.
Also, many changes took place in the film, but multiple heroine changes caught everyone’s attention. Sometimes, speculations are even rife that the current generation sensation Sreeleela was into the project. But, just after a few days, she opted out of the film.
While asked about the same, the actress, in a recent interaction, said, “I haven’t got any offer from DJ Tillu makers. If I sign any film, I will let you know about it on social media”.
With this, it is clear that Sree Leela is no longer a part of the project. This is a missed opportunity for the Tillu team, as the actress is ruling Tollywood Film Industry.
