After Pelli SandaD, Sree Leela became the most sought actress in Telugu. She has almost half a dozen films and her present film is Ravi Teja’s Dhamaka. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and co-produced by Vivek Kuchibhotla under the People Media Factory banner.
Talking about the character in the film she said, “It’s a true blue commercial film. I play a girl-next-door called Pranavi and the character gave me enough scope to show off a range of emotions. The cherry on the top was that I got show off my dancing skills as well,” says the actress.
Later, talking about the film, “I feel grateful more than anything because the makers had such confidence in me; they offered me the role even before my debut with Pelli SandaD. I said yes to director Trinadha Rao 10 mins into the narration. It’s a hilarious plot that will leave everyone in splits,” she says.
Finally, Praising Mass Maharaja, the actress said,“I was so nervous but he really put me at ease. It’s a dream come true to work with him. There isn’t a dull moment when he’s around,” she says, adding, “I got to learn so much. His passion and commitment are worth emulating. In fact, he danced to the song Danda Kadiyal with 12 stitches on his leg; it really taught me a lot about discipline and work ethic.”
