Dulquer has been chosen as the best villain at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival 2023. The award is for Dulquer’s latest Bollywood film ‘Chup’. The role of Danny in the film was praised by the audience and critics. This character was a psycho killer. R Balki, the director of the film, has also received the best director award.
“It felt special! My first award for a Hindi film. And my first achievement for Best Actor in a Negative Role. Thanks to the jury of the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival and Abhishek Mishra for being such a nice host. I really need to thank Balki sir. I don’t know how he saw me as Danny. He had that in me. It was all about conviction, guidance and vision. Thank you sir and the team for giving me a great experience at Chup. This award is for all of you”, Dulquer shared his happiness.
