Silambarasan TR, or Simbu, is undoubtedly one of the Tamil film industry’s most versatile and loved actors. The actor is working on his upcoming film with Desingh Periasamy, which is tentatively titled STR48.
While the makers had recently launched the film’s first look, speculations say that the film’s set work is in progress at a brisk pace, and the shoot will resume in mid-March.

Earlier, STR 48’s first look was launched. She was giving a mythical style to the first look. It was reported that a Bollywood actress will soon join Keerthy Suresh as one of the female leads, marking her Kollywood debut.
Reports suggest that Sita Ramam-fame Mrunal Thakur will play the female lead, making her debut in Tamil. It will also be interesting to see the onscreen chemistry between Mrunal and Simbu. Fans eagerly await the official announcement of the cast and crew of the film by the makers.

On the occasion of the actor’s 41st birthday, the filmmakers released the film’s first look poster, which featured Simbu in a dual role. It is assumed that the duo are identical brothers who go off against each other.
Kamal Haasan has bankrolled the film under his production banner, Raaj Kamal Films International. If rumours are to be believed, Anirudh Ravichander will compose the film’s music. However, official confirmation regarding this is awaited as well.

Silambarasan will be reuniting with Gautham Vasudev Menon for the sequel of his 2022 film Vendhu Thanindathu Kaadu. However, this will only happen once both filmmakers finish their current professional commitments.
