Siddu Jonallagadda in a promotional interview with Sitara Entertainments shared that the film’s theme plays a crucial part in his script selection. The actor shared that he cannot work on films when the theme is missing which was why didn’t want to do the film. Eventually, as they began working on the film, he enjoyed the process of filming for the sequel.
The actor further reveals that he didn’t expect the female audience and the kids to strongly connect with the character. He also shared he was very surprised when children connected with the film. Only when someone explained to him, that kids find Tillu’s expressions and character as a cartoon character that thrills them to watch DJ Tillu.
