Hero Siddharth has many hit movies on his list which got him fame and the fan following he has now. One of the movies is Oye, a romantic drama film released in 2009. the film was written and directed by debutant Anand Ranga. The film stars Siddharth and Shamili in the lead roles. This film is Shamili’s first film where she played the lead. The music of the film is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The film is a simple love story that is heart-touching and emotional. The songs in the film were a big hit because every song in the film touches the audience. The film ends on a sad note, but it shows the audience what true love is meant to be. Sadly, the film didn’t receive much appreciation at that time.
When asked about making the same kind of film again, Siddharth questioned that when the film is made for the first time, it didn’t get much reception in any place except Vizag. So, then why should we make that kind of film one more time? When asked about the re-release of the film, he said Oye can be re-released. If this film would get re-released then it would get much reception and the audience would enjoy the film better.
