Shraddha Kapoor urges fans to take a stand for animal cruelty

Shraddha Kapoor has advised her fans not to tolerate cruelty to pets during the festival of colours, Holi.

During the festival of colours, Shraddha Kapoor is strongly opposed to any type of animal abuse. The actor resorted to Instagram Stories a day before Holi to raise awareness about such practices and urged followers to take proper action against those who commit animal cruelty.

Shraddha published a video on Sunday showing a large number of unidentified people throwing colors at pet dogs. It demonstrated how pet animals, in particular, are harmed during Holi by flinging colors at them.

The hues contain harmful chemicals that can cause skin sensitivities, rashes, and even blindness in animals. If they lick the colors, it might lead to intestinal erosion and diarrhea.

Shraddha Kapoor has always loved animals and occasionally pushes for their welfare. In 2020, during a global pandemic, the actor took the initiative to spread the word that a stray cat near her home required immediate medical attention and nursing.
