“She helped me kick my Codeine habit,” Offset praises his wife Cardi B

Fun fact: During her teens, her nickname was after the rum brand Bacardi which later became her stage name – Cardi B. Cardi B is famous for her explicit rap lyrics and songs. Her song WAP, for example, has 501 million views on YouTube. Apart from internet fame, career-wise, B is the only woman to win the Grammy for Best Rap Album as a solo artist and the first female rapper in 15 years that got nominated for Album of the Year.

This woman at the age of 30 has set milestones for budding, aspiring artists. The famous song Girls Like You also featured Cardi B’s rap.
Speaking of Offset, he’s an American rapper who’s been featured with other famous rappers like Drake in No Complaints and Taste by Tyga. ‘Clout’ is a single with his wife Cardi B that earned a nomination for the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance.

Cardi and Offset destined their lives together in 2017 and they’re still on the path of growth together, despite the challenges they faced. In an interview with Variety yesterday, he commended her dedication to him and their family, and that in turn helped him out of his chaotic codeine habit. “I was drinking my whole career. It opened my mind up, but it never helped me create.”

He goes on to sing praises of his wife. “My bestie! She always got my back, right or wrong. We both are on the same mission to make each other better. Social is her strong point, so I listen to her social advice. And me, it’s the music, but I play behind the scenes; it’s my wife so I want to make sure she wins. We are a great team.”

Amidst an era where the meaning of relationships is getting shallower, it’s always a breath of fresh air to see couples grow through thick and thin.
