Kollywood director Shankar finds himself in a difficult situation as both his upcoming projects, “Indian 2” and “Game Changer,” have faced significant delays. “Indian 2,” a sequel to his 1996 blockbuster “Indian,” was initially scheduled for release in 2021 but has been postponed due to multiple reasons.
Similarly, the latest movie “Game Changer,” which was announced in 2020, has also faced delays due to the pandemic and other production issues. The film, which stars actor Ram Charan and Kiara Advani in lead roles, is said to be an action-thriller with a unique storyline. This high-octane budget film is bankrolled by Dil Raju under his production label.
Shankar, who is known for his grand cinematic vision and attention to detail, has a loyal fan base that eagerly anticipates his films. The delays in these projects have left his fans disappointed and uncertain about the future of these films.
Despite the challenges, Shankar and his team continue to work tirelessly to bring these films as soon as possible but still, majority shooting part for Indian 2 is still left. So the director is thoughts of completing Indian 2 with Kamal First and then he will move to Ram Charan’s Game Changer.
